There was so much to photograph at Grace and Scott’s wedding that we had to split it into two sections so here is
BRIDAL ELEGANCE AT MIDDLETON LODGE – PART 2
We first met Scott and Grace at a Middleton Lodge Open Day and knew instantly that they were going to love photographing their wedding. When we met them Scott had just completed a stint in Les Miserable in London and was about to embark on the UK tour of the hit musical Billy Elliott. Grace who was a professional dancer was just completing a final tour before embarking on a career in the fashion world, working at Hobbs head office in London.
Grace already looked stunning when Jane arrived at the Lodge as her friend Yasmin had almost completed her Bridal look. While another close friend of the couple Wayne had commenced creating Grace’s stunning hairstyle by putting in rollers to create volume and wave. Wayne was a breathe of fresh air to have in the room creating and amusing us all as he worked. The atmosphere in the room was lovely as we were joined by Grace’s friends who were bridesmaids and younger bridesmaids and flower girls, lots of busyness and excitement. Stan was with Scott and the guys greeting guests as they arrived and trying to stay busy and calm all at the same time!
Outside ceremonies at Middleton Lodge are always lovely, this one was highly emotional as Scott tried to hold it all together (I’m not sure he quite managed!) ……you just have to love an emotional groom! The weather was fabulous and the guests certainly enjoyed the canapés and drinks on the lawn before adjourning to the marquee for the speeches and the wedding breakfast. The evening entertainment was led by a live band followed by sparklers and fireworks. The perfect end to the most perfect end of wedding days.
